Margaret Juarez

Margaret Juarez of Hanford, California, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 11, 2026. Born on June 13, 1937, Margaret moved to Hanford when she married Albert Juarez Jr. and they began their new life together raising their family. In the 70s, she went to school and earned her nursing degree, which was a great accomplishment for her. At the same time, she started a residential care home facility for the elderly, which she dedicated over 60 years to running and touching countless lives with her compassion and steadfast commitment to care. Margaret was also a faithful member of the Hanford Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Elias Porras Sr. and Maria Jesus Mariguez; brothers Phillip, Robert, Ralph Jr., Alex, and Joe Porras; sisters Julia Porras, Valentina Molina; her second and third children, Trinidad Eugene Juarez and Frank Alfred Juarez; and her first grandson, Derrick Joseph Juarez.

Margaret is lovingly remembered and survived by her devoted children, Debra Marie Flores of Hanford, sons Albert Leon Juarez (and wife Sandra) of Hanford, Mark Anthony Juarez (and wife Lizbeth) of Fresno, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Juarez of Visalia.

She also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren: Delaine Juarez of Visalia, Damien and Nicole Juarez of Hanford, Benjamin and Kathryn Flores of Elk Grove, Debralee Juarez and Heather Van Kampen of West Virginia, Andrea and Steve Welton of Tulare, Mathew and Damaris Flores of Mariposa, Lyndsie Juarez of Visalia, Aaron and Jacqueline Flores of Fresno, Joshua Flores of Hanford, Andrik Juarez and Alexis Juarez of Fresno.

Her legacy extends to great-grandchildren Kimbra Juarez, Emily Juarez, Damien Juarez Jr., Derrick Juarez II, Ashton Castillo, Jordan Juarez, Gavin Juarez, Micah Flores, Jacob Flores, Elijah Flores, Noah Flores, Andrew Flores, and Judah Flores.

Margaret is also survived by her brother Ernie Porras and sister Antonia Porras, both of Fresno.

Her unwavering spirit, dedication to family, and decades of service to her work have left a lasting impact. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
