Michael Eugene Marquis

Michael was born to James Thomas & Georgia Lorraine Clark Marquis on May 28, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio. Michael passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Hanford, California. Michael was raised in Milpitas, California while growing up. As a child Michael enjoyed bowling and roller skating with his friends. When Michael attended high school he really liked his science classes. Michael graduated later from Milpitas High School. Michael has been a resident of Hanford for the past 16 years. He worked as Tow Truck Driver for 11 years for AAA in the past. On December 21, 1978 in San Jose, California, Michael married the love of his life; Jennie Garcia. Together they had two beautiful children; Michelle and Mikey Marquis. Some of Michael’s life’s passions were; watching movies (comedies) and listening to music but most of all his life’s love was raising his children and caring for them every day as their economic engineer. Even as an adult Michael still liked bowling and watching WWE Wrestling. Michael also loved his pit bull mix; Charlie who he had for 5 years as a companion.

Michael is preceded in death by his beloved Parents; James & Georgia Marquis. Michael is survived by his beloved Wife of 33 years; Jennie Marquis of Hanford. His loving Children will forever miss him; Michelle Marquis & Fiancé, Mario Corona of Hanford and Mikey Marquis of Hanford, California. Michael was cherished and adored by his Granddaughter; Madelyn Corona of Hanford, California. Michael also leaves behind his Mother-in-law; Mary A. Garcia of Hanford, 3 Nieces; Sandy, Tammy & Ashley, 3 Nephews; Alex, Robert & Randy and 2 Sister-in-laws; Cynthia & Bonnie and his Auntie Annie & Auntie Sally. Michael will be missed by all who knew him and those he loved…
