Born in Fresno, he attended Clovis HS and became a Certified Pipe Welder in college. Most recently working for Harris Manufacturing in Fresno. Mike especially enjoyed playing baseball and spending time outdoors fishing. He attended football and basketball games at Hanford High, and enjoyed watching his nephew compete. Mike loved the California coast and the Wyoming countryside and was very generous and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.
He is survived by his parents, Joyce and Gordon Taber of Hanford, brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Ruthie Taber, nephew Cole Taber, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins whom he cared about dearly.
A memorial to celebrate Mike's life will be held at a later date.
