Mike attended school in Corcoran, during High School he worked a seasonal job for the J.G. Boswell Company. Immediately following high school Mike enlisted into the United States Army and served in the 2nd Infantry Indian Head Division during the Vietnam War. After serving his country Mike returned to his hometown of Corcoran, California and became a full time employee for the J.G. Boswell Company as a serviceman and truck driver. Mike continued his career in truck driving, hauling grain and later hauling fuel.
Mike loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events and would often be seen sitting in the front row cheering and supporting them.
Mike is survived by his wife Providence "Provie": two children Denise and Marie; Brothers John and Jesse; Sister Barbara, and grandchildren Jacob, Jason, Kayden, Joshua, Jazmine, Gabrielle and many godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Fidel and Mary Medina; brother Tony and sister Rosemary.
