

Nelda enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, anything Elvis Presley, and refinishing furniture. She was known by GeGe or Golden Gram by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved people unconditionally. She set such a great example for all of us. Her legacy will live on through everything she has taught us. Nelda was loved by so many. She will be greatly missed by all.
Nelda is survived by her daughters Lori Steele of Fresno and Jeri Ketchum of Hanford. Seven grandchildren; Amanda Barrientez and Husband Richard of Fresno; Savannah Johnson and Husband Chad of Spokane Washington; Christina Hampton and Husband Jeffrey of Hanford; Derrick Bell of Fresno; Kassandra Blum and Husband Aaron of Hanford; Jayne Crisp and Fiancé Roberto of Fresno; Jerry Hayes of Fresno. Nine Great Grandchildren Hailie Hampton, Sierra Johnson, Hannah Hampton, Richard Barrientez JR, Jayden Hampton, Kain Barrientez, Annabella Barrientez, Lucas Johnson, Benjamin Johnson. Brothers Charles McCoy, Jerry McCoy, David McCoy, Danny McCoy, Donnie McCoy. Sisters Betty Mathis, Karen Lynch, Ruth Sowers, numerous nieces and nephews. Last but not least her Best Friend Janie Neameyer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Jerry Kenneth Crisp who passed away in 2005, her parents and Brother Harold McCoy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel 501 N. Douty St. Hanford, Ca.
