Pat married her soulmate Chuck Saffeels on September 1, 1950. They were both longtime members of Central Community Church and the first of couple to be married there. Together they had four beautiful children, Pam Davis, Terri Sansom (Rick), Gary Saffeels and Randy Saffeels (Kim). She was blessed with nine Grandchildren, Ian Sansom (Bonnie), Charity Brown (Shawn),Ryan Saffeels, Keelan Sansom, Shane Stull (Corin), Brandon Saffeels, Whitney Augusto (David), Brittany Saffeels and Kylee Parolini(Josh) and oodles of great-grandchildren.
Pat loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family, church family and friends. She had many hobbies in life but nothing seemed to be more gratifying than taking care of everyone around her, so much so that she volunteered for hospice for many years. Those that had the privilege of being around Pat knew they would be welcomed with a loving smile and a warm embrace.
Pat is survived by her Four children. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Saffeels, her parents Author and Salsa Hughes, her brothers Lavelle, Leon and Ed Hughes and her sister Evadean.
Services will be held September 20th from 4 to 8 pm at Peoples in Hanford and a graveside service will be held September 21st at 10am at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona.
