Phyllis Jean Tompkins

Jean was born on October 17th, 1935 in Toms Creek, Virginia

to Ted and Millie Tompkins.

Jean was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother,

great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She spent several years as a dental assistant in

Coalinga and almost 20 years working for the Sonoma

County School District in Santa Rosa. She was an

avid reader, enjoyed her family, and loved her church

and all of the people she met.

Jean is survived by her children, Gary Wright and

his wife Nalini of Roseville, California; Julia Park and

her husband Jerry of Nashville, Tennessee, and Katherine

Avila and her husband Tony of Coalinga, California.

Also four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren,

four nieces, three nephews, and her beloved granddog, Sully.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016,

10:30 at Grace Bible Church, 707 W Fargo Ave, Hanford, California..
