Ramona Medina Florez

Ramona was the youngest of 5 children. Born in Huanusco, Zacatecas, Mexico on August 31, 1949 to Eliseo and Maria Guadalupe Medina she later moved to Delano, California where she attended school graduating from Delano High School in 1969.

Ramona settled in Hanford in 1984 with her 3 children. She furthered her education earning a certificate as a CNA. She was employed at Kings Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she worked as a CNA for more than 20 years.

Ramona will be best remembered for her hard work, her humor and her love for others.

Ramona was preceded in death by her mother and father.

She leaves behind a son; Danny and wife Sara Florez of Armona; twin daughters; Suzy Florez of Anaheim and Sylvia Florez of Oklahoma. She will also be missed by a brother; Eliseo and wife Liza Medina of Washington D.C., two sisters; Elisa Medina, Consuelo and husband Esteban Nuno both of Delano, California and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Praise Chapel Hanford; 270 Gilkey Lane, Hanford, CA 93230.
