Richard Edward Juhnke

March 24, 2012 at Adventist Medical Center of Hanford, California.

In 1960 he entered the United States Navy, serving until his retirement in

1988, attaining the rank of Master Chief (E9/AVCM). He served in Vietnam

War, Patuxent River, Maryland but the majority of his military career was

served at NAS Lemoore. Richard earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary

Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallentry

Cross, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy

Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

Richard married Connie Janette Jones in Hanford, California in September of 1985. He

enjoyed woodworking, fishing at Pine Flat Dam and Kaweah Lake and watching FOX News.

Richard was a very likable man and was always willing to help others. He especially enjoyed

times spent with this family. He will be greatly missed.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Connie of Hanford, CA; four children,

Richard A. Juhnke and wife, Susana of Hanford, CA, Tammy Snow and husband, Larry of

San Francisco Bay Area, CA, Dominique Walter and husband, Nathaniel of Kingsburg, CA

and Sabrina Guensler and husband, Grant of Rocklin, CA; seven grandchildren and two

great granddaughters.

At his request there will be no services held.
