Richard C. Magnia

Richard C. Magnia was born on July 31, 1960 in Hanford, California to Santino and Adela Magnia. He departed this life on May 27, 2016. Richard was a well-respected member of the community, who was a dedicated employee for the City of Hanford for 35 years. He enjoyed playing softball and basketball, spending time with family and friends, and helping loved ones with home improvement projects. He had the ability to leave a lasting impression on those that he met.

Richard is survived by eight brothers and four sisters. He left behind five children: Alessandra, Elizabeth, and Luke of Hanford, California; Ryan and Morgan of San Diego, California; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Peyton, and Donovan of Hanford, California.

There will be a Visitation held Tuesday, June 14th, 5:00-6:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N Douty St, Hanford, Ca. The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 15th, 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10355 Hanford-Armona Rd, Hanford, Ca, with a Burial at Calvary Cemetery, 11680 S 10th Ave, Hanford, Ca and a Reception to follow. The Reception will be held at the Civic Auditorium, 400 N Douty St, Hanford, Ca.
