

Robert D. Boudah went home to the Lord on June 15th, 2020 peacefully with his wife, daughter and grandson. Robert D. Boudah was born on June 6, 1947 in North Hampton, Massachusetts. Robert graduated high school in 1965 from Wheatland, CA where he enjoyed journalism and history. Bob “what he liked to be called” joined to United States Navy on June 22, 1965. He was a personnel man in the Navy and served on several ships including the USS Coral Sea, USS George Philip and USS Constellation. He also served in Vietnam. Bob was the Navy recruiter for the city of Hanford in 1985. He retired after 20 years of faithful military service in 1985.
Bob received his degree in Criminal Justice and started his second career at the Kings County Sheriff’s Department. He became Sergeant and was instrumental in organizing the Kings Country Sheriffs Department SWAT team. He retired for the second time in 2000.
Bob started his third and final career at the Tachi Palace Casino in the Security Department. He served as the Security Lieutenant and finally retired in 2013 to enjoy his family. Bob loved baseball and was an avid Giants and 49er’s fan. He had fond memories of watching baseball with his father and brothers. Bob was also a huge Star Trek and Star Wars fan and loved the Sci FY channel. His favorite shows were Blue Bloods, NYPD Blue, Battlestar Galactica and anything science fiction. Watching TV was his favorite pastime other than spending time with his family and going to the coast. He loved the group Heart, The Eagles and classical music. Bob will also be missed by his beloved grand dog Tiny who was his emotional support animal.
Robert married Jean Marie Struve on May 8, 1971 in Maryland, they met while they were both in the Navy. They just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Jean was his best friend and companion.
Bob is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Natale, grandson Christian Robert, mother Jean P. Boudah, sister Carol Horrod, brother in law James Horrod, sister Shelley Lynn Leal, brother in-law Ed Leal, and brother Mark Boudah. Bob had many nieces and nephews he loved dearly: Matthew Boudah, Daniel Boudah, Robert Boudah, Melissa Love and Armando Love, Jacob Leal and Shane Leal.
Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert James Boudah and his brother Bruce Raymond Boudah.
