Rosie moved to Watsonville at the age of 18 and met her soulmate Fidel “Alex” Olmeda whom she was married to for 54 years. She enjoyed shopping, bicycle riding, and cooking her infamous homemade flour tortillas. Rosie was a strong woman and fought for her life all the way to the end. She passed December 16, 2020 in Hanford CA at Adventist Health Hospital.
Rosie was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, leaving behind her husband, Fidel “Alex”, her 3 children, Alex, Rita and Michael, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, among many other loved ones. Anyone that knew Rosie knew she was a one of a kind character and the memory of her will remain strong. She will be deeply missed by many people but Rosie will never be forgotten and she will be forever loved and cherished in our hearts.
