Roy Malcolm Randles

Roy Malcolm Randles was born on December 19, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to James and Dorothy Randles. He grew up in a loving family enriched by his four older siblings and the many dear ones who were welcomed into the Randles' home. During his youth, the family relocated to El Monte, California where Roy's love of animals and farming began. The family attended the Methodist church where many lifelong relationships were established and Roy's life of faith and Christian service was fostered.

He received his Bachelor's Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and his Master's Degree from the University of Southern California (USC). His interests and experiences with field crops, farming, and education enabled him to work successfully throughout the years at many places including: Scattergood Farms in West Branch, Iowa; Boys' Republic in Chino California; Cutler-Orosi School District in Orosi and Cutler, California; and Corcoran Unified School District in Corcoran, California.

His roles as Farm and Dairy Manager, Teacher, Principal, Administrator, and Mentor enabled him to touch many lives and make a difference in each community where he lived. Roy loved sharing his time and energy to serve those in need internationally as well, which is evidenced by the many mission trips he participated in.

During "retirement" years, Roy still enjoyed working in farm-related jobs, tending to his own personal garden, and most of all planting seeds of love in the family he so richly treasured.

Roy passed from this earthly life to be with his God and Savior Jesus Christ to a fuller degree on June 18, 2026 at home in Hanford, California at the age of 93.

He will be missed dearly by Delfa, his wife of 45 years, his five remaining daughters, his 16 grandchildren, his 16 great-grandchildren, and his many other precious family members and close friends.

At this time of great loss, we are thankful for the unfading memories we share, the pattern we have witnessed, and the faith, hope and love which defined Roy and can never be taken away from us.
