

Ruby Hazel Morales, 82, of Hanford Ca., entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Hanford Ca. She was born in Porum, Oklahoma on January 26, 1931 to Roy & Hattie Lula Wright. Ruby’s family moved to Kings County when she was 7 years old.
On July 20, 1947 she married her late husband Adolfo C. Morales at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where they were long time members. After their marriage Ruby & Adolfo made their home at the family ranch in Hanford. Through the years they owned a dairy and enjoyed working together and raising animals. Going to the beach, fishing and deep sea fishing were one of the few enjoyments they both shared. Ruby loved flowers, gardening and raising birds. Amongst those birds were raising the intricate species, the Peacocks. On her spare time she would crochet Afghans, dish towels, baby artifacts and anything creative. Ruby’s overall enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Adolfo C. Morales, daughters Mary Morales and Carmen Morales and son Adolfo Morales Jr.
She will be dearly missed by her two daughters Margaret Cannon & husband Earl of Blanca, Co. Gloria Dias & husband John of Bakersfield, Ca. Sister Mae Martin of Lemoore Ca. Six grandchildren, Jeremy Tincher, Donna Dent, Heather Wisener, Stefani Dias, Aimee Franco and Adam Franco, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel. A Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic with interment to conclude at Calvary Cemetery.
