Bobby was born on February 22, 1943 in Hanford, California to Refugio and Petra Guerrero. He attended Woodrow Wilson and Hanford High School graduating in 1961. He also attended College of the Sequoias pursuing his Electronic Degree, he then moved to San Francisco to work at the now historical, Emporium. He was then drafted into the United Stated Army in 1965, serving 10 months in Vietnam, returning on Operation Santa Claus. He worked for PG&E in 1967 and retired in 1994 after 32 years of service.
Bobby loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He took extreme pride in being an avid San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants fan. Family time was very special to Bobby, he loved to make everyone laugh and had such a big personality and heart. He will be missed and cherished by all those who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life (wife) Clara, together 21 years. His sons, Jesse Perez (Toni) of Hanford, Rudy Perez (Ada) of Armona, Dennis Perez (Christina) of Armona and daughter Adrienne Perez of Hanford. His brother, Ray Guerrero of Concord, sisters, Lupe Torres of Hanford, Andrea Romo of Cupertino, Ca., Mary (Vincent) Rocha of Hanford, and Nadine (Richard) Overall of Texas. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a Brother, Margarno “Morgie” Olvera.
Bobby will always be remembered for so many things, especially how much he would go out of his way to help others, and he opened his heart to everyone and never met a stranger. He was proud to have served his country; he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
