She lived in Laton, California from 1945 to 2005 and moved to Hanford until 2018. Her son moved her to Idaho until her death in 2023.
As a Jehovah's Witness, Thelma was baptized in January 1972. Her hobbies included: oil painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She worked at Del Monte Cannery in Kingsburg, California for over 30 years and also at Hanford Community Hospital as a cook for over 10 years.
Thelma is survived by her son Herbert Michael Price; and her daughter Jance Price; her brother Hollis Cobb (Dovie), her brother Dooye Cobb, her brother Lamont Cobb (Betty) and her sister Betty Jo Price (George). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her spouse Herbert C Price; her mother Maggie Martin and her father C.G. Cobb.
A Visitation for Thelma will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 North Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230.
