Tony was a humble military hero recognized with the 5th highest award in the US Army for his action in Korea; he received the Silver Star and a Purple Heart. He was a hardworking man and didn't know the meaning of "Take a break." He was friendly and easy going; he never met a stranger.
Tony was referred to as the "The Last of the Iron Men" and was considered by many as a 2nd Father or "Papa Tony." All he had to say was "Here, here, here" and his dogs, cats and rabbit would come running for hotdogs and bologna. He was always smiling, his heart was pure gold.
Tony is survived by wife of 62 years June Laboa, daughter Elaine Beaumont (Brad),sons Rocky Laboa and Clay Laboa, daughter-in-law Cheryl Laboa, grandchildren Sarah Hodson (Douglas), Traci Bevens, Brandon Laboa, Laura Harp, Brittney Riley, Blake Riley, Robin Pierce and Ashley La-Boa-White (Lewis), great grandchildren Dana Hodson, Brooke Hodson, Madison Bevens, Claire Bevens, Ava Bevens, Jacob Mello, Amanda Ledesma, Drake Giron-Riley, Thurston Gonzales, Jamison Aguirre, and Journey La'Boa-White, great-great grandchildren Cali Ann Mello.
