Yvonne Marie Van Nest

Yvonne was born in Torrance, California, raised and educated in Avenal, California. She graduated from Avenal High School in 1972. She enjoyed reading, walking, puzzles of all kinds, and crocheting. Yvonne was an outgoing, friendly and kind person who thought of others before herself. She loved and trusted everyone unconditionally. The simple things in life made her happy and she appreciated the gesture no matter what. Yvonne most enjoyed being a mother and loved her children dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Earl in May of 1989, her son, Bill Van Nest on July 17, 2008 and her mother, Dorothy on June 2, 2010.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Pamela Grey and husband, Terry of North East, MD and Jason Dudrich and wife, Abby of Fisher, IN: two sisters, Deborah Jones and husband, Richard and Tammy Neal and husband, Allan, all of Coalinga, CA; four grandchildren, Sara, Rachel, Alex and Ella with granddaughter, Piper, scheduled to arrive in May, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the home of Richard and Deborah Jones at 1717 Sandalwood Street in Coalinga, CA.
