Alexander Paton

Mr. Alexander Paton, 48 of Rockland died Saturday in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after being stricken ill at home. He was born in Quincy on Oct. 24, 1957, the son of Irene Keefe Daly of Rockland and the late Alexander Paton. He was employed as a Corrections Officer at the Shattuck Hospital in Boston and formerly was a Corrections Officer at the Southeastern Correctional Facility in Bridgewater. Mr. Paton was a former member of the Rockland Auxiliary Police Department. He enjoyed Auto Detailing, Bike Riding, Home Video's and walking his dog, Misty Spot. He is survived by 1 son, Keith A. Paton of Rockland, 3 daughters, Shanna M. MacDonald and her husband Kevin of Rockland, Breana M. Paton of Rockland and Nikki E. Paton of Middleboro, his mother, Irene Keefe Daly of Rockland, 4 brothers, John J. Paton of Riverside CA, Edward D. Paton of Owenton KY, Tim P. Daly and Mark Daly both of Rockland, 3 sisters, Linda J. McDonald and Cynthia A. Daly both of Rockland and Denise M. Bowes of Scituate and 2 grandchildren, Kevin MacDonald and Kade Paton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., in Rockland. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water Street in ROCKLAND on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
