Arlene Crawford

Arlene F. Crawford, 88, died March 1st peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her sister; Janet Hines, her children; Karen, Paul, and Joyce and their spouses. Arlene lost her daughter, Lynne in 2013. Arlene has 7 grandchildren and a large extended family.

Arlene was living in East Bridgewater at the time of her death and had a winter home in Vero Beach FL.

She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie and by 3 husbands; Hank Crawford, Ed O’Callaghan, and most recently, Lou Foscaldi.

Arlene was gregarious, thoughtful, loving, and sociable; always up for a party.  She gathered the whole family together each December for “Grammy Christmas” and joined heartily in the celebration. She loved the beach at Vero, liked golfing with her husband Lou, and was a champion shuffleboard player at the club.

She will be sorely missed by all her friends and family, especially at family get-togethers and celebrations. Arlene has a very musical family and would often join in with the band to sing some of her old favorites. She was always kind and cheerful and had only the nicest things to say about everyone she met.

Goodnight Grammy, we will miss you. 

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary’s (392 Hanover St., Hanover, MA)on Wednesday March 8th at 9:00a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell.
