
Mr. Arthur L. Cody, 71, of Rockland died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 in his home after an illness of several months. He was born in Weymouth on October 25, 1935. The son of the late Arthur and Hazel Levangie Cody, he was raised and educated in Quincy and was a graduate of Bentley College. He lived in Dorchester and Abington before moving to Rockland 12 years ago. Until his retirement, Mr Cody was employed as an Accountant. He served in the Navy for 4 years during the Korean War. He was a member of the Weymouth Elks, the Abington American Legion and enjoyed Golfing. He is survived by his wife, Therese Feinstein Cody, 2 sons, Major Joseph Cody, US Air Force and his wife, Heather of Incirlik AFB in Turkey and James Cody of Worcester, 2 Brothers, Paul Cody of Sebastian FL and Edward Cody of Weymouth, 2 sisters, Jeanne Belliveau of Weymouth and Marilyn Wilson of Attleboro and 1 grand daughter, Lauren Cody. Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 20, 2007 at 10 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water Street in ROCKLAND. Interment will be in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting Hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 credit Union Drive, Randolph, MA 02368.
