Arthur Matthew Graham

Arthur was born to Matthew and Jeannie Graham on January 25, 1944. He attended Hanover public schools, Mount St. Charles Academy in Rhode Island and was a 1962 graduate. Arthur was a successful Commercial Realtor and Developer. He built many homes, condominium complexes and subdivisions throughout the South Shore area, including Arthur Matthew Drive, Sharon Drive, Graham Hill and Waterford Drive in Hanover. Arthur was also a communicant at St Mary's Church for many years. 

Arthur was a licensed Captain and Commercial fisherman with a deep passion for tuna fishing. Arthur was a member of the Green Harbor Tuna Club where he had a boat docked for over thirty years. Throughout his life, he went on many cruises and traveled extensively to many countries. Arthur also enjoyed spending time with his ten grandchildren.

Arthur is survived by his daughter Diane Hines and her husband Paul of Norton, daughter Susan Graham of Bridgewater and son Christopher Graham and his wife Traci of Pembroke. He is also survived by his two sisters Carol Costello and her husband Frank of Bourne and Louise Graham of Hanover. Arthur was predeceased by his wife Sharon of 44 years, his daughter Cynthia Nicholson and brother Andrew Graham.

Visiting hours for Arthur will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary's, 392 Hanover Street, Route 139, Hanover, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 9 AM. Burial to follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Arthur's name to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
