
Mr. Arthur J. Newton, 66, of Surprise AZ died July 27, 2006 in the Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix AZ as a result of an accident on July 8 th in Surprise AZ. He was born in the Allston section of Boston on August 8, 1939. The son of Janet T.Bolejszo Newton of Taunton and the late Lawrence Newton. He was raised and educated in Boston and was a Graduate of Boston Tech. Mr. Newton served in the Air Force in the late 1950's and early 1960's. He was a retired Production Supervisor for Data Instruments in Lexington MA. He was a resident of Hanson over 30 years before moving to AZ 2 years ago. He was a member of the Hanson American Legion Post. He is survived by his wife, Carol A Gouthro Newton, 1 son, Thomas J. Newton and his wife Christine of Pawtucket RI, 2 daughters, Sheryl A. Newton of Mansfield and Karen M. Manson and her husband, Thomas of Raynham, his mother, Janet T. Bolejszo Newton of Taunton, 2 brothers, Paul W Newton of Brockton and Robert F. Newton of Taunton, 2 sisters, Patricia A. Abraham of Bradenton FL and Margaret I. Clemente of Newton and 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Newton, Daniel T. Newton and Alison Kathleen Manson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 9 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment will be in the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
