Barbara Ann Moran Betts

Mrs. Barbara Ann Moran Betts, 72 of Pembroke died at home on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. The daughter of the late Arthur T. and Fern Reins Moran Sr., she was born in Manchester NH on December 23, 1936. She was raised and educated in Braintree and has lived in Pembroke since 1961. Mrs. Betts is survived by her husband Robert W. Betts, 2 sons, Robert W. Betts Jr. and his wife, Zlata of Attleboro and Tim Betts of Pembroke, 3 daughters, Linda Kennedy and her husband, Patrick of Braintree, Laurie Galley and her husband, Billy of Sagamore Beach and Mary Ann Betts of Pembroke, she was the sister of Mary E. Bourget of Braintree, Arthur T. Moran Jr. of Whitman, Dorothy A. Cope of Kingston and Frances L. Burns of Wakefield, 7 grandchildren, Keri Ann Betts, Sgt. Christopher Galley US Army, Andrew and Katherine Galley, Brian and Joseph Kennedy and Ian Betts, 1 great grand daughter, Emma Archer and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St. in Weymouth. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
