Barbara A. Casey Donahue

Mrs. Barbara A. Casey Donahue, 78 of Hanover died Wednesday, December 20. 2006 in the Southwood Nursing Home in Norwell after a long illness. The daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Burke Casey, she was born in Boston on January 9, 1928. She was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and lived in Dorchester, Mattapan and Quincy before moving to Hanover 4 years ago. Mrs. Donahue was a former member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Gregory Church in Dorchester Lower Mills. She enjoyed Golfing and Bowling. Wife of the late Walter P. Donahue, she is survived by 4 sons, Robert P. Donahue and Walter P. Donahue Jr. both of Plymouth, Daniel P. Donahue of Braintree and Joseph P. Donahue of Marshfield, 2 daughters, Barbara A. Scannell of Hanover and Kathleen M. Mahoney of Plymouth, 1 brother, Patrick A. Casey of Braintree, 1 sister, Mary Johnson of Bridgeport CT, 15 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
