Barbara A. Carroll Herrmann

Mrs. Barbara A.Carroll Herrmann, 76, of Hanover died Saturday, June 9, 2007 in her home after an illness of several months. She was born in Weymouth on October 1,1930. Daughter of the late Daniel M. and Bessie G. Procter Carroll, she was raised and educated in Quincy and has lived in Hanover for over 50 years. Mrs. Herrmann was formerly employed as a Housekeeper at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home. She was a member of the Hanover Council on Aging and a former Sunday School Teacher at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hanover. She was a former Camp Fire Leader, a former Cub Scout leader and she enjoyed Knitting Baby Caps for Hospitals. Wife of the late William A. Herrmann,she is survived by 3 sons: Steven D. Herrmann of Hanover, Richard A. Herrmann of Whitman and James W. Herrmann of Nantucket; 1 daughter, Sandra L. Greene of Pembroke; 2 brothers: Daniel Carroll of Rockland and Kenneth Carroll of Hernando FL ; 1 sister, Dorothy Brown of Braintree, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lester Carroll, Robert Carroll, James Carroll, Blanche Zeoli and Ruth St. Charles. A Funeral Service in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 11 AM Interment will be in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM
