Barbara A. Stone

Barbara A. Stone, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, April 5th.  Born in Braintree on January 22nd, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (O'Brien) Stone and was predeceased by her siblings Ruth Stone, Elizabeth Ross, Arthur Stone and Charles Stone. She worked as a budget analyst for New England Life. Barbara was an animal lover, a voracious reader, and enjoyed gardening and retirement immensely.

Barbara is survived by her nieces and nephews, Barbara and John Szucsik, Elizabeth and Chris Hartigan, Rich and Gretchen Ross, and Ruth and Peter McCormack and Nancy D’Onofrio. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Michael and Matthew Szucsik, Elizabeth, Julia, and Mark Hartigan, Keith, Kyle, and Tyler Ross, and Caroline and Elizabeth McCormack. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 8:30 AM at St Helen's Church, 383 Washington Street, Route 53, Norwell. Burial to follow at Hanover Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal shelter of your choice.
