Beatrice "Joyce" (Lannigan) O'Connell, 86 of Plympton and formerly Canton, passed away on April 24, 2019. Born in Boston on July 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (McDonald) Lannigan. She was employed as a postal clerk in Manomet, retiring in 1985. She was also a member of the Mary Queen of Peace Secular Franciscan Order.
Beatrice was the beloved wife of the late James F. O'Connell. Dear mother of Stephen J. O'Connell, his fiancé Dori Colavito and his late wife Rosa O'Connell of Trumball, CT, Karen Vining and her husband Richard of Plympton and the late Paul B. O'Connell. Cherished grandmother of Joshua J. and April O'Connell of CT.
Visitation at Our Lady of the Lourdes Church, 130 Main St, Carver, on Saturday, April 27th from 10-10:45am, followed by a mass at 11am. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Plympton.
