Brendan A. Cronin

Brendan was born in Weymouth and was a proud graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1996, and went on to earn his degree from Westfield State University, Class of 2000. A natural athlete and competitor, Brendan played football at both schools where he built lasting friendships and carried his love of the game throughout his life.

Brendan was a devoted husband, father, and proud business owner.  He and his beloved wife, Kerry, shared over 20 years together, building a life full of love, laughter, and family.

Above all else, Brendan’s greatest joy and accomplishment in life was being a dad. He was endlessly proud of his sons, Connor and Matthew, and lit up when talking about them. Whether traveling together, cheering them on in their pursuits, or simply spending time side-by-side together, Brendan treasured every moment with his boys. 

As the owner of ForeverLawn Massachusetts, Brendan built more than a company—he built a community, cherishing the friendships he formed with both colleagues and employees.

Brendan especially treasured the peace and quiet of family time spent up north in the mountains. Known for his unmatched wit and sense of humor, he had a gift for making those around him laugh. A lifelong fan of Boston sports, Brendan took great joy in cheering on his teams, particularly the New England Patriots on a Sunday.

Brendan leaves behind his wife, Kerry (Giolito); his sons, Connor and Matthew; his mother, Constance (Anderson) Cronin; his mother-in-law, Linda (Loffredo) Giolito of Duxbury; his brothers, James Cronin Jr., of Hanson, Kevin Cronin and his wife, Taryn, of Hanover, along with his niece, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, James E. Cronin, Sr., father-in-law, Carl J. Giolito and cousin Brian M. Cronin.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Angels, 392 Hanover Street in Hanover.
