

Bruce Tanner, of Rockland, passed away March 11, 2018 surrounded by loved ones after an unexpected and courageous battle with cancer. Born Dec 9, 1951 in Kane, PA, he was the son of Walter Tanner (Deceased) and Greta. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
Bruce loved working with his hands, whether it was solving steel puzzles, growing vegetables, landscaping, or playing darts. He worked as a carpenter for over three decades.
He leaves behind his daughter Fawn Delaney and her husband Craig from Driftwood, TX, his daughter Rachel Tanner from Austin, TX, his former wife Laura Rugman, his sisters Carla Cougar from Virginia, Chris Cervelli and her husband Frank from Rochester, MA, Cathy Miller and her husband Kevin from Halifax, MA, Cindy Anctil and her husband Richard from Halifax, MA and his brother Brett Tanner from Plymouth, MA. He also leaves behind a grandson, Tanner Delaney, and 4 nephews, 7 nieces, and his fiancé Maureen Caldarone and her family Tom, Courtney and Devon.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte 53, Hanover, on Saturday, March 17th from 1-3pm, immediately followed by a service in the funeral home at 3pm.
