

Cheryl was born on August 16, 1956 and raised in Quincy. On June 25, 1977 she married the love of her life, William “Billy” Callahan, and the two settled in Randolph to raise their family. They then moved to White Cliffs in Plymouth, and enjoyed many years of golfing and building lasting friendships, before settling down in Norwell. Cheryl worked a lengthy career of 30 years as a surgical technologist. Over the years she spent time working for Quincy Hospital, Milton Hospital, and more recently Beth Israel Plymouth.
Cheryl was an active woman who had many hobbies. She enjoyed shopping, running, golfing, basket weaving, reading, and baking. She liked to have fun but was always still the voice of reason. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Cheryl was the loving wife of William "Billy" Callahan. Mother of Robert Callahan and his wife Jodi of S. Berwick, ME., Lindsay Carveale and her husband Jonathan of Norwell, and Jeffrey Callahan and his wife Sarah of Sandwich. Grandmother of Brennan, Amelia "Millie", William, Adeline, AnnaLee "Andee", and Thomas. Sister of Karen Degan of FL, Richard Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Audrey Shea of Quincy, Jane Connors of Weymouth, the late Kathleen Rakoski of Randolph, the late Nancy Perella of Milton and baby Paul. She is also survived by many cherished brothers and sisters in law, nieces, and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 13th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover - 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at 10:00AMat Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary's in Hanover - 392 Hanover St.
