Cheryl L. Danieli

Cheryl L. (Sloan) Danieli of Norwell, MA passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022, at the age of 76. Loving wife of 54 years to John R. Danieli, beloved mother to Andrew S. Danieli and his wife Catherine and cherished grandmother to Madelynne Sloan of Fort Mill, SC. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Melba (Bowen) Sloan of Nebraska, sister to the late Karen West of West Palm Beach, FL, and sister to James Sloan of Longmont, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends who she loved and loved her.

Cheryl is originally from Grant, Nebraska and met her husband while working in Washington, DC where John was stationed during his service with the Marine Corps. After they married, they settled in Fishkill, NY prior to moving to Norwell, MA.

Cheryl was Executive Vice President of The Computer Merchant, Ltd in Norwell MA, which she founded alongside her husband in 1980. It was especially important to Cheryl that she treat her employees like family and was always focused on what she could do for every one of them. She was truly the heartbeat of the company and will be greatly missed.

Her greatest joy was meeting, holding, and spending time with her first grandbaby Maddie. She also loved spending time with the rest of her family and many friends.

Cheryl was a philanthropist and donated her time and talents to many charities and causes. She was an avid reader, loved the arts, her flower garden, knitting, rug hooking, traveling and pets.

Donations can be made in Cheryl’s memory to a charity of your choice.
