Christopher Daniel Wesinger passed away at the age of 25 at his home in East Boston, MA on Saturday September 26, 2026. Growing up, Chris attended Pembroke Public Schools, South Shore Conservatory and Suffolk University where he cultivated and pursued his love for learning & music. It was here that he found his “tribe” of close lifelong friends that were with him up until the very end (we appreciate and love all of you).
As a child, Christopher’s wonderfully quirky personality often earned him the comparison to Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. But above all, he will be remembered for his gentle spirit, brilliant mind, and caring heart. Christopher found immense joy in life’s diverse pleasures, from composing music and playing games to exploring the outdoors and mastering the culinary arts. As passionate as he was about his hobbies, nothing compared to the unconditional love he had for his family, his friends, his girlfriend Claire and his beloved cat Sir Winston.
Christopher leaves behind his loving family: his parents, Jennifer and Dan Bates (Step Father), and Daniel and Sarah Bento-Wesinger (Step Mother); his sisters, Julia Wesinger, Kate Wesinger, and Diana Bates; and his brother, Jonathan Bates. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Claire Speredelozzi, and his grandparents, Ralph and Patricia Bates of Scituate, Donald and Susan Martin of Meredith, New Hampshire, and Brenda Wesinger of Arlington. Christopher was predeceased by his grandmother, Nancy Martin of Pembroke, and his grandfather, Leonard Wesinger of Arlington. Beyond his immediate family, he leaves a wide circle of extended family and friends who loved him deeply, as well as his beloved cat and partner-in-crime, Sir Winston.
Christopher was taken from us way too soon.
He was the spark that lit up all our lives and he loved everyone enough to last a lifetime.
May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest
