David M. Shea

David M. Shea, 58 of Pembroke, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2021. Raised in Duxbury, Dave was a proud Eagle Scout and continued to support the scouts in Pembroke, by coordinating the Scouting for Food efforts for the Pembroke Food Pantry. He believed whole heartedly in doing good works and making a difference through example. David was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Jackie Shea of Duxbury. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Donahue) Shea, formerly of Canton, his two sons, Ryan and Christopher, also of Pembroke, his sister Susan Shea of Northborough and her wife Rachel Gaillard Smook, brother Andrew Shea of Pembroke, nieces and nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles and his "brothers from other mothers," Mike Flanagan, Jerry Nightingale, Bruno Berszoner, and Frank "Franzi" Prosl.

There will be a private service at First Parish Church in Duxbury, followed by interment at Mayflower Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Pembroke Food Pantry, 140 Center St., Pembroke, MA 02359.
