Donald B. McLeod

Mr. Donald B. McLeod, 65, of Norwell died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a short illness. The son of the late Stewart and Hazel Drillio McLeod, he was born in Brockton on May 15, 1939. He was raised and educated in Brockton and moved to Norwell 32 years ago. Mr. McLeod was a Graduate of Boston University and was employed as the General Manager for Newport/Corion company in Franklin, an Optical Filter firm. He was an avid Fisherman and Boater and was a member of the New England Boating Association. He was a former member of the Army reserve and was a sports enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Corcoran McLeod, 2 sons, Jeffrey P. McLeod of Marshfield and Kevin M. McLeod of Hanover, 1 daughter, Kristen Leary of Scituate and 8 grandchildren and many helpful friends. The Rev. Donald Remick, pastor of the United Church of Christ in Hanover, will officiate at the Funeral Service on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 11 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER. Interment will be in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, PO Box 823, Scituate MA 02066.
