Edith L. Campbell Turner

Mrs. Edith L. Campbell Turner, 77, of Hanson died Monday, March 15, 2004 at the home of her Daughter in Marshfield after an illness of several Months. The daughter of the late Duncan B. and Etta May Alexander Campbell, she was born in Boston on July 7, 1926. She was raised and educated in the South End of Boston and lived in Roxbury and Dorchester before moving to Hanson 29 years ago. Mrs. Turner enjoyed Bowling. Wife of the late George M. Turner Jr, she is survived by 3 Sons, George M. Turner 3rd of Hanson, Thomas J. Turner of Dover NH and Michael R. Turner of Hanson, 2 Daughters, Edith L. Spry of Hanson and Cheryl A. Woods of Marshfield, 1 Brother, Duncan Campbell of Meredith NH, 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was the Mother of the late Phillip W. Turner and the Sister of the late Claire Calley and the late Edna Mina. The Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER. Interment will be in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
