Edward F. Donovan, 92 of Halifax, passed away on June 28, 2016. Born on February 25, 1924 in Boston, he was the son of the late William and Hannah T. (Cahill) Donovan. He was employed by the City of Boston as a plumber. Edward proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and on the U.S.S. Wisconsin during the Korean War.
Edward was the brother of William, John, Helen Hurley, Doris Wyatt, and Ann Loughnane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great- nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan St. Cor. Rte 14 & 58, Hanson, on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church,580 Monponsett St. Rte. 58, Halifax, at11 AM. Burial with military honors at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
