Edward L. Leary

Mr. Edward L. Leary, 97 of Hanover and cape Canaveral FL, formerly of Brockton and Dorchester died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Son of the late John J. and Catherine B. Marshall Leary, he was born in Boston on January 11, 1913. Mr. Leary served in the Army during WWII and was later employed as a Floor Manager at Bart Tribuna Company at Boston Fish Pier. He was a member of the VFW in Cape Canaveral FL. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Klueber Leary, 1 son, Edward L. Leary Jr. of Quincy, 1 daughter, Marjorie McCormack of Whitman. Brother of Richard Leary of Norton, Leo "Nick" Leary of Quincy, Joseph Leary of Quincy, Kay Dodge of Derry NH, Gertrude Norkiatis of Hingham, and the late Bob, John, Tom, Bill, Larry and Edward Leary. Grandfather of Doreen McCormack, Leanne Moore, Kathleen Cookson, Janine Murphy and Karen Yee. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Friday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery.
