

Mrs. Eileen A. Packard, 93 of Plymouth, formerly a 50 year resident of Hanover died Monday, February 25, 2008 of natural causes at the Life Care Center of Plymouth. She was born in New York City on April 19, 1914, the daughter of the late John D. and Minnie Padget Anderson and step daughter of the late Corrine White Anderson. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar P. Packard. Eileen was an early Grange member in Randolph where she grew up and was educated. She taught Sunday School at the First Congregational Church in Hanover for many years. Eileen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hanover Fire Department for more than 20 years. She married Edgar in 1935. They lived in Hanover, then moved to Plymouth where they resided until his passing in 1999. Eileen always enjoyed knitting, crocheting and other hand work, and for many years made baby sweaters for the Guild of St. John's Church. She is survived by her loving daughter, Priscilla A. Munro and her husband Bradford of Duxbury, 2 granddaughters, Pamela Larson and her husband Kenneth of Kingston and Blake Doyle and her husband, Scott of Duxbury, 5 great grandchildren, Joshua, Erika, and Annika Larson and Scott Jr and Peter Doyle. She is also survived by a nephew, several nieces, great nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews from around the world. Funeral Service on Friday at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church, 515 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Eileen's name may be made to Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cir, Suite 326, Plymouth MA 02360.
