Elizabeth M. Palmer

Elizabeth M. Palmer age 87, entered peacefully into eternal life on September 1, 2013, surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born in Dorchester and raised her family in Squantum, the daughter of the late William and Bridget Kelley formally of Ireland. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Palmer and devoted mother to William J. Palmer and his wife Maryann of Plantation Florida, Robert F. Palmer and his wife Maryanne of Norwell, and Julie A. Sylvester and her husband Guy of Scituate. Elizabeth was the proud and loving grandmother of Ryan and Keryn Palmer of Norwell and Michael, Jessica, David and Christopher Sylvester of Scituate. Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. in Hanover. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St in Rockland. Interment in Milton Cemetery.
