Mrs. Florence M. Goodrich Sweatt, 91 of Framingham died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham after a brief illness. The daughter of the late John and Pauline Wright Goodrich, she was born in Hopkinton NH on October 11, 1916. She was raised and educated in Concord NH and had lived in Cambridge and Jamaica Plain before moving to Framingham in 1968. Mrs. Sweatt had been employed as a Medical Terminologist at Framingham Union Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Guild at St. John's Church in Jamaica Plain. Wife of the late Justin L. Sweatt Sr., she is survived by 1 son, Jesse J. Sweatt of Quincy, 2 daughters, Marjorie M. Patten of Pembroke and Elaine F. Richards of Weymouth. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James, Justin Jr. and Eric Sweatt and sister of the late John Goodrich. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday from 4-7 PM followed by a service at 7 PM.
