Francis Albert Callahan

Francis Albert Callahan, 79 of North Weymouth, formerly of South Boston passed away on January 10, 2017. Born on May 9, 1937 in Boston, he was the son of the late Catherine (Healey) and Patrick Callahan. Francis was employed as a welder and loved the Red Sox. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Francis was the husband of Mary T. (Foley). Father of Michael of Norwell, Sean and his wife Maureen of Hingham, and the late Francis Jr., Dennis, Vincent, and Mary Teresa. Brother of William and his wife Dorothy of Boston and the late Joseph, James, Robert, Mary, and Catherine. Grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 9. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Friday at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
