Frank McDermott

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital on August 13, 1957, Frank was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Heavey) McDermott. He grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts, and graduated from Braintree High School before earning his degree from Boston State College in 1979.

Frank dedicated his professional life to public service as a longtime employee of the Internal Revenue Service.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Janet Cullen McDermott, and his siblings Mary Manning, Ann Cyr, John McDermott, and Thomas McDermott. He also will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and many friends.

A visitation at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, MA 02339, on Wednesday, November 5th from 9-10 AM, followed by a burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, Massachusetts 02184 at 10:30 AM.

Frank will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quiet strength, and devotion to family. He will be dearly missed.
