Gail enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox, playing bingo and keno, and trying her luck at the casino. She loved horses and spent many years breeding, boarding, and showing them. Gail was a simple, down-to-earth woman who didn't need anything fancy — she was just as happy with a meal at one of her favorite local restaurants or a casual lunch out with family. She loved traveling, celebrating the holidays, and spoiling her grandchildren with gifts at Christmas. She especially loved spending time with her beloved husband, Herb, with whom she had just celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Gail had a special love for nature. She enjoyed her Christmas cactuses, watching the colorful orioles and cardinals at her bird feeders, and feeding the deer that visited her yard. She was happiest at the beach, soaking up the sun and coming home with a beautiful tan.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and the simple joys that made her happiest. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and celebrate Gail's life. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 20th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Hanover, MA 02339, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, July 21st, at 10:00 AM, also at the Sullivan Funeral Home.
