Gordon 'Jimmy' Judd

Mr. Gordon ''Jimmy'' Judd, 74, of Duxbury died Thursday, November 25, 2004 in the Brockton Hospital. He was born in Chelmsford, South Wales, England on September 3, 1930. The son of the late Gordon and Lillian Judd Porter. He was raised and educated in England and served 2 years in the English Military. He came to the United States at the age of 20 and enlisted in the Army, serving during the Korean War. He lived in Norwell many years and several years in Plymouth before moving to Duxbury 5 years ago. Mr. Judd was employed as an Electronics Engineer for DI-AN Controls in Braintree for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Carroll Judd, 2 sisters, Jill Farr and Marion Porter, both of England a brother in law and a sister in law, Peter and Emily Sylvester Carroll of Whitman, 2 nephews, David Carroll of Newton and Dennis Carroll of Hanson and 1 niece, Susan Dillon of Whitman. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 9 AM in St. Helen's Church, 383 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Norwell. Interment will be in the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
