Harriette M. Madden

Harriette (Marchant) Madden, 85, of Pembroke passed on July 16,2021 at home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Milton on September 7, 1935 to the late Clifton and Frances (Norling) Marchant of Pembroke.

Harriette worked for several years as the secretary at Hobomock Arena and later retired from Clean Harbors. She was a huge sports fan including her beloved Red Sox (especially Big Papi) and Patriots (TB12). She also enjoyed trips to Twin River casino and Foxwoods.

She is survived by her daughter Leslie Madden, her son James Madden and his wife Marife of Pembroke. She was the loving grandmother (Mugga) to Michael and Matthew Madden who brought her so much joy. She also leaves dear friends Carol Marsh of Holbrook, Patty and Rich Barnett of Stoughton and Cindy Parker and Doreen Tibbets of Pembroke along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Carolyn Johnson and brothers Newell and Neal Marchant.

Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in Hanson on Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 followed by a service in the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
