

Ida M. Lanzillotta Turner, 95 a lifelong resident of Pembroke died Monday, June 17, 2013 at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. The daughter of the late Paul and Elena Marsiglena Lanzillotta, she was born in Pembroke on September 2, 1917. Ida was raised and educated in Pembroke and had been worked in the cafeteria for Pembroke Elementary School. She was a volunteer at the Pembroke Council on Ageing and St. Thecla's Altar Guild. She was the wife of the late Clyde D. "Buster" Turner, mother of Clyde D. "Dusty" Turner Jr. of Kingston, Diane LeBlanc of Pembroke and Deborah Berry of Halifax. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Asunta Lanzillotta, Helen Trotta, Antonette Goleme, Mary Federico, Frances Angie, Joseph, Frank, Alfred and Michael Lanzillotta. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in ST. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte 14 in Hanson. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cir, Plymouth, MA 02360.
