Irene Ruth Eddy Brown

Mrs. Irene Ruth Eddy Brown, 80 of Hanover died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Colony House Nursing Home in Abington. The daughter of the late Arthur C. and Helen Wyman Pearce Eddy, she was born in Oak Bluffs MA on January 11, 1928. She was raised and educated in Oak Bluffs and later lived in Weymouth before moving to Hanover over 40 years ago. Mrs. Brown had been employed as a printer at Relocation Resources in Hanover. Wife of the late George M. Brown, she is survived by 1 daughter, Sandra L. Collingridge and her husband, Michael of Pembroke, 5 grandchildren, Heidi G. Fisher of Taunton, Robin L. MacDonald of Taunton, Lynda A. Ferren of Huntersville NC, Amy H. McKenna of Marshfield and Matthew A. Collingridge of CA and 2 great grandchildren, Tyler Michael Collingridge of CA and Julieanne McKenna of Marshfield. She was the mother of the late Mark Brown and Irene MacDonald. Funeral Service in the Sullivan Funeral Home 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Animal Shelter of your choice.
