
Jacqueline A. Surette, 75, of Norwell, formerly of Abington, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a short illness. The daughter of the late Lucien and Isabelle Hache Ricard, she was born in Quebec Canada on March 3, 1927. She was raised and educated in Quebec and lived there until she was married in 1954. She moved to Abington and was active at St. Bridget's Church in Abington. She moved to Norwell in 1973. She loved to travel all around the world. Wife of the late William L. Surette, she is survived by 1 daughter, Mimi I. Surette McCarthy, 2 grandchildren, Colin W. McCarthy and Allison S. McCarthy and 7 brothers and sisters, Rene, Louis, Jean-Pierre, Andre, Michel, Louise and Danielle all of Canada. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 9 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139 in Hanover. Internment in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monastery of the Precious Blood, 873 Blvd Sait Louis, Trois-Riveres Quebec G8Z 2M8.
