

Mr. James E. Cronin Sr., 62 of Hanover died Monday, June 9, 2008 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a sudden illness. The son of the late Arthur and Eileen Kirenan Cronin Sr, he was born in Weymouth on March 26, 1946. Mr. Cronin had worked as a Salesman in the Packing Industry. He was the co-founder and coach of Challenger Division Little League Baseball, a member of the South Shore Umpire Association and was active in Hanover Youth Baseball, couching several All Star Teams. He is survived by his wife, Constance Anderson Cronin, 3 sons, James Cronin Jr. and Brendan Cronin both of Hanover and Kevin Cronin of So. Boston and 1 brother Michael Cronin of NJ. He was the brother of the late Arthur Cronin Jr. Funeral Service in the Calvary Chapel, 175 Market St in Rockland on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
